About Us

Our Story:

Vintro Vintage and Retro is a family and friends run business based in Chichester West Sussex. It started in 2019 as an idea between two friends Steve and Warren to sell pre loved Levi's jeans to to the people of Chichester, drawing on their passion for pre loved sustainable fashion. Steve brought his experience of living in Manchester, one of the vintage hotspots in the UK and Warren brought his experience of London market selling: which soon expanded into a pop up shop which opened in December 2019.

Originally only supposed to be open for a few months the idea proved popular and soon evolved with the support of friends and family into a one stop shop for fashionable, affordable and sustainable vintage clothing in Chichester. 

Four years on and we find ourselves in our brand new permanent Chichester store and have had locations in Bosham as well as branching into kilo and bulk sales in Horsham and many market and festival events.

We have gone from 0 employees to 4 employees as well as many volunteers and supporters and do our best to engage with local communities to bring our values and unique clothing offering to Chichester, Sussex and beyond. All the while trying to stick to our original goals of keeping things fun and affordable.

We are excited to launch our new website to help bring Vintro to the rest of the UK and continue our exciting journey.

Our mission statement is to provide fashionable, affordable and sustainable clothing options. With a true emphasis on great quality pre-loved vintage and retro and other upcycled fashion and accessories. Whilst keeping our pricing as low and fair as possible and catering for all styles and sizes. This allows everyone to experiment with their own style and caters for all walks of life. And most importantly we want every customer to have a great fun experience whether shopping in our store, online or at our events.
